Color palette for MAC NC35? Hi all!!
So I'm a MAC NC35 liquid foundation user (both studio fix and select water-based). I would like to know what MAC color palettes (or any other cosmetic brands, friendly to my wallet) would suit me best for a variety of looks. For example, I also have the Desert Rose blush which is a great rosy color for my cheeks but I'd like something peachy, copper-y, etc. I just chatted with a MAC makeup artist online, and these are the recommendations she gave me for MAC products:
Copper-y: MAC Gingerly Powder blush
Peach: MAC Peaches Powder blush
Lips: Spice Lip Pencil, Honeyflower lipstick (nude shade)
Powder: Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
Eyes: Shroom, Folie, Club Eye for daytime; Nylon, Satin Taupe, Twinks for night time.
Has anyone used any of these? Any other MAC or non-MAC (and cheaper) recommendations?
Also, FYI: MAC has free shipping on all online orders until 3/21 ANNNDD for chatting with a specialist online I got a discount code for complimentary standard shipping and a free Zoom Lash sample (code: lash310). Enjoy! :) Thank you!! | MAC Peaches blush is the BEST peach blush ive used. its true to its name, theres no hint of pink in it. Copper-y blush i would go w/Coppertone, Gingerly reminds me of a lil of Peaches, so i would go w/Coppertone because just like Peaches its true to its name & diff. from Peaches so u'll have 2 diff. looks
Nude l/s i would go w/Siss or Peachstock (my fave.)
i tried the P+P Finishing Powder & it gave me dry patches on my face, made my makeup look flaky in some areas (if u dont have dry skin, i would recommend it)
i think u should get a black e/s - Carbon or Smut (if u dont want it too dark) & for a highlight e/s color i would go w/ricepaper (Im NC35-37)
read reviews @ MakeupAlley.com it really helpes me when im a lil iffy about buying
hope i helped :D |
